Benefit's Roller Lash

So Benefit Cosmetics have released a new mascara - 'Roller Lash', which will be available in UK stores from February 26th for £19.50! This mascara won't be replacing Bad Gal or They're Real, and is for ladies who aren't fortunate enough to have naturally long or curly lashes.

Roller Lash was designed to lift and curl even the shortest or straightest of lashes, and claims to last up to 12 hours. What's new with this mascara is it's tiny hooks on the brush that stick out along the rubber bristles, it's these little bad boys that hook and roll the lash back, creating a gorgeous curl.

The formula is so lightweight I feel as though I'm not wearing mascara. I have long lashes but they aren't particularly curly, but with Roller Lash I can achieve length and curl. It is long lasting, but after a while it can leave transfer dots along my brow bone where my lashes come in to contact with the skin. I thought maybe this was due to the fact that I wear cream concealer, but even when I powder over the concealer it tends to happen... I can easily just rub the dots off though, so this doesn't bother me too much.

One of the main things I love about this is it's so quick to use! It's as though your lashes are in need of this stuff. A few sweeps and you're good to go, it's also fast drying. So brilliant if you don't love to sit and style each individual lash.

This works really well even on women with short and straight lashes, and even on mature ladies with smaller even hooded eyes. If you're a They're Real Lover though, you can do a coat of each mascara. These look okay (maybe a little clumpy) when used together as Benefit recommend for an intense look. As Roller Lash is lightweight it gives a fluttery and girly finish, whereas They're Real is bold, jet black and more for seperation and length.
