So, one of the perks of working in a department store is using your staff discount (and beauty points if you've saved some!) when the SALE is on! I picked up these 3 essentials.
I really like Visible Difference by ELizabeth Arden, I've bought it several times now so I'd say it's my go to moisturizer for all skin types and sits well under makeup.
I've tried many brush cleaners, some are great for certain brushes and not for others. I used the Clinique one whilst at work as our's had ran out, and found it great for cleaning gel or creme products quickly allowing you to use the brush again almost straight away. So it's perfect for cleaning eye and lip liner brushes on the job. Not so great at cleaning longer or softer bristle brushes as it tends to fluff up and fan out the bristles so you have to be a little more gentle with those.
The Artdeco Anti-Aging Makeup Base, (only available in the UK from Debenhams.com) is a fantastic primer, I used to use it when I worked for the brand and still purchase it today for my kit as well as for personal use. I feel it plumps my skin a little, the frown lines on my forehead appear much smoother and my foundation looks better and definitely lasts at least 3 hours longer than it normally would without it.
